Dear CSPaper Review (CSPR) Users,

Thank you for your trust and trying our review tool for CS papers! We have an important update to share.

Starting 25th August:

• Every user will receive 3 free reviews each month (automatically topped up).
• If you’d like more reviews, you can purchase credits. 1 credit = 1 full review.
• If a review cannot be delivered or is desk-rejected, it won’t count against your quota or credits.
• You can track your spendings of each credit and quota easily.

Why are we making this change?

Since launching in late June, our community has already completed 30,000+ reviews. The response has been incredible — beyond anything we imagined. But it also means our token, server, and tooling costs have grown unsustainably. We’re a small, unfunded team of researchers and engineers, covering these costs out of pocket. To keep this service running and improving, we need to make this adjustment.

What this means for you:

• You’ll always have free access: 3 reviews every month, no strings attached.
• If you need more, credits are available at very affordable rates (we are not making a profit from them).
• Your feedback drives our roadmap. We’ve already added missing related work detection, and we’re working on features like rebuttal assistance, review breakdowns, collaboration tools, and broader conference support.

Our mission hasn’t changed: we want to make peer review fairer, more sustainable, and more useful for researchers. Many of you have used the product hundreds of times already — your trust and engagement are the reason we exist. Without you, there is no CSpaper.
