Dear CSPaper Review Users,

We're excited to announce the release of CSPaper Review v1.0.5!
Here’s what’s new in this version:

Async & Scalable Pub-Sub Review Job Pipeline

Our engineering team has once again refactored the backend review job pipeline to make it more stable, scalable, and resilient.

This update addresses several issues, such as:

• Review jobs being lost when you accidentally close the tab or refresh the page
• "Orphan" jobs that failed silently in the background

Now you can safely grab a coffee or tea while the review is running — your job will continue processing in the background, and you can return later to check the results.

For better transparency, you can track the status of all your submissions in the "My Reviews" page.
Most reviews still finish in about 1 minute, just as fast as before!

Improved Notification Banner

We’ve enhanced our maintenance and downtime notification system to keep you better informed — whether it's a planned update or an unexpected hiccup. Here’s a sneak peek of the new banner experience.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

We’ve also squashed a few bugs and made some performance enhancements:

• Replaced a blocking LaTeX download step (used in ArXiv reviews) with a non-blocking operation for smoother user experience
• Improved our paper page count logic to make it more accurate
